No doubt they could subsidise Molycorp if they want and probably would if it is strategically important to them.
If it is required for military applications they will make sure they can get the Ree preferable from their domestic source.
I don't mean the US will take full control of Lynas in Malaysia but will probably be keen to have some influence by way of a US company having a stake in Lynas.
You are saying a forward looking price is bound to get played with (by retailers).Wouldn't you think that the bankers could control that?
