The SEC (in the USA), are going to bring back, and enforce, that shorting is only allowed in stocks on an upward trend, NOT ON A DOWNWARD TREND, which seems to be the current practice.
And the hedge funds and big shorters are already screaming, that it is going to cut their earnings, and that it is how they are making money.
IMHO, it is like kicking a bloke in the head while he is on the ground, and/or like a pack of wolves attacking the lame animal.
What is ASX and ASIC going to do about it here in Australia??? Are they going to follow suit??
