Paps, that's in the past - look to the future:) It is a commonly held view that during the Great Depression America was forced to pull assets and funds out of Germany causing the depression to spread which in turn created a political environment in Germany that was susceptible to the rise of radical leaders.
The same concern also came up in relation to Japan needing to sell foreign assets to pay for its current rebuild.
At least you didn't reply like precious little ozgem who gets very defensive and insecure and runs and tells everybody including his mummy about his hypothetical % gain in case of a takeover!
