Once China’s stranglehold and monopoly is well and truly broken I’m sure that will be the case but do you really want to trust the Chinese to have and maintain a monopoly on anything as essential to future development as rare earths.
They’re already trying to stop and at the very least throw massive roadblocks in front of Lynas that’s proven fact.
The Chinese are extraordinarily patient and play the long game extremely well, it’s about bloody time we did the same.
