LBMA have allocated gold and unallocated gold. Now we could get into the argument of how much real gold backs a paper gold account, but that would be pointless here because you should have the same doubts about PAGE as you would anywhere that is offering gold without straight out giving you gold.
Actually, it makes me wonder why sp says that PAGE will be better than LBMA when PAGE provides a way to "speculate in gold future contracts through an RMB account with a bank or broker".
It would appear that there is a heap of hypocrasy amongst some committed "real" gold bugs here; which leads me to believe in what CT infers often - it is all just anti- USA (and the west in general I would add).
Or else why would you support speculation in gold future contracts in China, but not in the West. Indeed not even support Perth Mint products. It's not a logical position.
For mine: No logic = poor reasoning = poor decisions.
