Lucky it will be that CNOOC's ability to understand the results (technically) are far greater in skill than the mom and dads understanding.
As a funder and an imminent substantial shareholder CNOOC will have a substantially clearer understanding as to where the results are leading too and have been confident enough to increase funding and take a position in EXE (putting their money where the 2012 results lie) Brave or stupid? or just maybe they know exactly what they are doing/investing in?
Just an opinion of course, but that is how it looks to be shaping up to me.
