    What you are saying here is totally wrong and misleading;

    "I try to stay away from chrystal balls and focus on the facts. Yes a big player has bought in but another big player (with presumable more intimate knowledge) has sold a slice. The +ve equal the -ve in my opinion."

    What is the fact?
    Here it is; Conoco has also given 20% share from its Poseidon gas field to PetroChina. This area has proven gas of about 5-7 TCF! It's the part of the same deal with Goldwyer.

    I am sure you know that.

    What would you say to this? can you say the same thing; "Is it same for this one too "The +ve equal the -ve in my opinion".

    You need to support your opinion by not hiding the other part of the facts. Saying "no difference for me" bla bla is not enogh. Bring the facts here. We need facts we don't need your unsubstantiated opinions.

    And we don't know how much PC is paying for this Poseidon share! It is going to be very big.

    Conoco has cash flow problems even though it is one the best performing O&G stock in US

    OK. Let's have a look "HONESTLY" at why Conoco has sold shares from these two big projects, one has proven gas resource one might have even much larger OIL + GAS resources.

    Here is the source: ConocoPhillips Will Overcome Its Funding Gap

    "ConocoPhillips (COP) recently reported its 2012 operating results and many were not happy. 2012 earnings were down on lower realized oil prices. Year over year production declined on asset dispositions. Finally capital expenditures [capex] alone have outstripped cash flow, causing a substantial funding gap.

    The funding gap, which does not even include its $3.3 billion dividend obligation, is probably what has investors most worried. As the company splits off, sheds assets and rearranges its business, it is burning through cash. Many seem concerned by the decline in cash flow and heavy capital expenditure and have thus sold the stock, driving the price down by nearly 5% in one day."

    Do you understand why Conoco might be selling their high valued shares on these projects?
