    Loki01, IMHO the US won't get involved, except to prevent conflict. The US will use diplomacy, only. "If you want to be part of the international community you should comply with international territorial laws."

    It makes no real difference to the US who gets the oil. When another Saudi sized oil reserve gets added to world supply the price will drop which helps oil consumer countries, particularly the US - but very bad for oil producers, especially Iran.
