re: chipperbill/student/lifo/briter The reason for the other companies not taking on Rincon Salar was that they did not have the technical abilities to economicaly extract Lithium from the brines.
The clever scientists at the CSIRO have been developing a new way of treating the brine and have come up with a winner. I think (word choice) that there is more to come on the efficiency of both extraction and evaporation rates. I cannot elaborate on this at this point in time.
