Grandcaruso,
You've made a good point or two, but I think Opalcocky is on the right track with production by Easter as an example.
I have spoken with guys at CFR, and in conjunction with the MOU, the drift is producing ORE in the near/medium term.
The time frames you suggest are long term. And if this was in Australia, you would be correct, if not generous! As I've noted before, imo 10 million tons in India is worth 100 million tons in Australia - because its a whole different ball game on bringing something to production.
Imo, I agree, there are huge reserves being "discovered" in Australia, which will not be mined out, or perhaps even mined, in this generation! And yet these "discoveries" are propelling share prices into stardom!
For me, 10 or 20 million tons of IO, with a near term production blows the socks off some of the hyped up stuff here. (Aus) I could give a classic example, but I might cause a storm to the maximus!
No doubt if the tonnages come in with these lower figures, some people will panic and bolt... Before they do that they will need to assess the relationship of tonnages to production time frames.
Some of those very traders who would panic if tonnages don't come in HUGE are the very ones who will race of to invest in BIG tonnage ones here, only to watch CFR supplying IO to the market whilst theirs goes rusty in the ground! mmm I'm being sarcastic now...
I better stop!!!
Cheers all
