Before CHK decided to sell their Niobrara leases they entered into a JV with SSN to drill the 2 state wells. Now it will be interesting if there was a contractible agreement or obligation to drill these wells before they decided to sell.
It wouldn't surprise me at all to see these wells go ahead as planned.
With an update on SOA and possibly Defender next week hopefully TB will be able to inform the market regarding the State wells.
