I know the announcement says that CHM won, but, unless I am reading the judgment incorrectly, it appears that MMX has won big time, with CFE picking up the consolation prize.
The award against Grimaldi is worth something north of $15MM - that should adequately compensate CFE.
But when it comes to MMX,
'The court rejected the claim for a constructive trust over the whole, or a proportion, of MMX's interest in the Iron Jack project.'
'The court concluded that MMX is bound to account for the income it received from the project by the use of CHM's funds which totaled only $277,840 of the total working capital.' - The total working capital being many hundreds of millions of dollars.
That sounds like peanuts to me.
