You are describing a constructive trust and if you read the judgment the court did not believe a constructive trust exists.
There are no profits to date for the project and 100's of millions of dollars have been spent already by MMX to improve the value of Jack Hills.
CHM's contribution to Jack Hills you will find is a proportion of the full improved value and thats a lot less than you are thinking now.
A few technical wins for CHM but have not gained much financially from MMX.
A win for MMX is my read.
Lets see if they can get much out of Grimaldi now.
