My thoughts on Palladium relating to trump tarrifs on canada, mexico on autos
So ive been thinking that it will have a big effect on where the autos are made .ie camada, mexico, china
BUT it wont affect production in the united states !
Most of ford sales are pickup trucks made in the united states, so no tarrifs !
Conversely most of the cheap cars from mexico, canada, arent very popular sellers in the united states, so that production will simply move to the united states, already seeing honda move their mexico production back to america !
Canada is a big exporter of cars to the us, but i think that a lot of production is in ontario canada, which switch back to neigbouring detroit and it will happen very quickly ! Canada will also most like give more subsidies to auto makers to keep jas many obs while they can !
