Thanks Ozzy - interesting timing indeed.
I suspect that it might not be due to the recent rise of Platinum and Palladium - although very welcome that is. I am wondering if it's the BEOT and shorters altogether letting the SP run back up to its true value?
A lot of their $5-6 per share capital is locked up in Chalice after the last $6 CR 2 years ago. They are still there on the share register and with the PFS getting close they're calling their capital in? When they did the Scoping Study in Aug 2023, they gave the world a timeframe of by end of June 2025 for the PFS which is just about now?
So with their $5-6 capital locked up for nearly 2 years - the most logical thing to do is to make money with it while it is secured in Chalice? Shorting for the next 2 years. They make $$$$ lending out their shares. And why not? Good on them.
I don't know but it looks like it to me? If that is indeed the case then I would not be surprised to see them "taking their foot off the brakes" and let the SP run back up? Back to $5-6? We'll see but great to see Chalice rise 19%. Good luck.
