I do agree somewhat, though they can come in handy if you dont know too much.

In 2018 i brought Neu my first purchase in the share market. I seen the share go from $3 to $1 after they signed a nice agreement with Arcadia.

In Jan 2020 i found out about chn and had no money to buy and wanted to sell remaining neu funds to buy chn, so my freind broker said at the time suggested that i buy the exact amount i sell at the exact time into my super.

If i hadn't of had that conversation with him i still would of brought chn but my super would be a few hundred grand poorer today.

I do agree with the comments but in my case it work out.

So far i am enjoying this ride with chn and never worried at all when in went to the 3s.
