I can see a few triggers in the short to medium term for a change of sentiment..imo, it won't take much for the worm to turn as I still believe it is manipulation based on lack of news, low metal prices and weak Dow.
First is an announcement saying that they have started drilling at one of or more of their regional targets, second is an announcement about more drilling results at Gonneville. This should bring back a bit of blue sky speculation that comes with drilling.
The 3rd could take a bit longer to rear its head, but at some stage with more met testwork results, I would expect Chn to announce a host of Ni and other metal recoveries for different ore domains, ie. High grade, medium grade and low grade. Once they have indicated/assigned new metal recoveries to the different grades, then the market should have a better understanding, that at the moment, it is only the low grade ore where the Ni recovery is low ~45-50%. As I understand it, they haven't assigned recoveries yet, but after more testwork, I wouldn't be surprised if the high grade ran Ni recovery somewhere between 80-90%, medium grade 65-80% and low grade >50%. Let's see what happens.
