I had in mind the Perth Merredin line - unless the service has been cancelled?
It is about 10km from Gonneville easy peasy.
Here is another idea from left field:-
The Perth Merredin line passes through Meckering - Cunderdin - Tammin.
Plenty of clapped out salt lakes, immediately adjacent to the railway line between Meckering and Tammin.
I would wager that there would be a few cockys who would love to have their salt lakes filled in with good earth.
So build your state of the art concentrator and tails dam up there - transport no problem - green tape no problem - the locals would welcome such a development with open arms
