Of course all media will report it's good, green, cool, fun and save the world. However the truth is not that perfect, Battery will retired around 8 years, to replace it will be the almost same cost to buy a new car. This make the second car market hate EV because it's not worth to buy a second hand EV. That's how Hertz make the move because they can't take the loss for all these 2000 EV cars. For the environment lover, they ignored other side of the EV story, how many natural resource we uses to make these batteries and how make resource we will spend or not to recycle these batteries and cars?
