The hydrogen fuel cars may have limited use. Storing liquid nitrogen in tanks around the country is difficult due to it's volatile nature. If the power is cut off during a blackout for example the temperatue of the hydrogen can rise quickly. From what I here insurance companies in the USA won't insure it being stored just anywhere. Must cost a lot to store it in hot environments.
