The 7:30 report just aired an interview in relation to major foreign ownership reforms being announced tomorrow. In their words a robust foreign ownership policy is on its way to protect critical Australian assets from foreign ownership. The question was asked to what these assets might be classified as and no clear answer was given. This could be part of the masterplan like the recent government backing of a large mineral sands operation?
CHN has had Minister King visit the site in the new year, but this is no guarantee a successful pitch was made. The JV is going to one hell of an interesting read when it finally drops and it needs to be a beauty for all the long term faithful!
