I wouldn't put much stock in Biden's lame duck Presidency PGE sanctions.
Trump made it clear he'll be ending the Ukraine war as President elect in an interview he made on PBD media recently. He has the ear of Zelensky and Putin and that war ends as soon as the votes confirm he wins. War ends and sanctions won't be necessary so either the Palladium pop is temporary or there will be ongoing PGE supply shortages anyway and prices will continue to rise. I believe the latter to be the case.
Gold and Silver steadily rising are likely pre-empting other debt related issues worldwide.
