There has been some great input from different sides of the fence.
Just because some have a buy and hold long term strategy doesn't mean massive gains are a guarantee.
Many would be suffering from that exact strategy as many stocks have lost 90 percent from their highs .
It has been proven that the majority of major gains in stocks are made over the short to medium term, but the timing of holding is the most critical.
There are never any guarantees that a stock will continue on the up, so let's not discount that there may be more strategic plays than just buy and sit!
I'm content with 100 per cent gain in 6-7 weeks and will look to re-enter after the retrace providing indicators offer a reversal and further upside.
This is not a negative, but requires some work, timing and knowledge to re-enter.
No fomo, which can make you sit in a stock long term, as concerns are if you sell how do I re-enter?
If it is that CHN has a long term upside, that means there is plenty of opportunity to enter and exit throughout the major upside periods.
All in all it's been a good thread, with different options offered by a number of good posters, don't discount the fact that there is more than one way to skin a cat!
1st gap is nearly closed, will the other gap fill soon or not?
