Having previously lived in Perth, I'm aware of the significance of Julimar. Any proposal to trade that for an open cut behemoth will fail. It's the kind of decision that would oust the administration, irrespective of natural/recreational/heritage significance.
Is been published before in announcements that the mining in Collie is a model that could work, and that means underground. I think this has to be the direction Chalice needs to take Julimar/Gonneville.
If you don't believe the grades can support this, I would get out.
