The ability to factor in a rare event is critical regardless of what buisness is purchased.

Also to note, brka and brkb are still going strong. Usually the market puts a negative rating (short term) whilst the favourite sector at the time booms. Think the tech boom, the same day the nasdaq hit the high brka hit the lowest point. A benchmark? I dont know. Something to keep in the back of the mind I guess.
