There has been alot of noise on how to invest and which investment approach is the best. I have not the capabilities in reading charts. And I only look at them to see how well my investments have increased over the period since it started. If it looks like the tol and qbe graphs, then I must be doing something right.
Modern Finance theory, especially when the markets are in downturn comes to peoples minds and diversification becomes the buzz word. I prefer to stick with investment knitting - analysing businesses and evaluating if a durable competitive advanatge exists and if management have their wealth tied in the company (tol, bkl) or are extraordinary leaders.
