Many of you fine investors would already be in the loop of Warren Buffett's annual letter to his owners (a proud Berkshire Hathaway owner, I must admit).
Its a darn good read - as all his letters are starting way back in 77!
In the 09, he talks about the BNSF rail road acquisition and his thoughts on the general landscape. With more shareholders added to the BRK register due to the BNSF buy, he really does explain things so well, including the investment principles that have time and time (and time) again worked.
Can I hear the calls of "this time is different" or the man is "out of touch"?? No Sir, the investment world does get caught up in its own tangled web sometimes - leaving this man to pick up things darn cheap when all others just hand it on a plate to him at attractive prices. The world is truly his oyster with the amount of cash the Berkshire vehicle produces. Glad im on board. Maybe its time to join this growing business "moat".
