Gentlemen, I read an interesting quote today, one in which I try to pencil in on every post (a roundabout way, that is). The saying goes: "Those who fail to study history are doomed to repeat it." This seems no more true than the spark of the DOW rising above 10,000 (yet again) albeit a decade later (and more,the cross over came in March 29,1999)
Not that we should be either concerned about this index - it purely is a flawed benchmark on a spectrum of a herd following market. Particularly when the index has been chopped and changed, depending on the "mood" of Americanism.
Read and read lots. Investing is not difficult, the foundations have been laid for us, Mr Market is there not to guide us on our actions. Its is we who determine that.
