I thought it rather amusing when Nestle bought out the Peters ice cream brand. First Nestle appeared as a small word above the Peters logo. A little while later, the words swapped places - Nestle as the main brand, with Peters in small lettering above. Later still, the Peters disappeared altogether - replaced with a snowflake. Finally the Nestle disappeared altogether and got replaced with Peters.
