Saw the paper below yesterday. It describes several people following the carnivore diet who have LDL-C levels of those with familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) and some of them quite young (around 30). That is some serious potential loss of life:
"Without treatment, the life expectancy of those with familial hypercholesterolemia can be reduced by approximately 15-30 years. However, in people with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, the life expectancy may only be 20 years or less" Source
