I agree asf. The states are now increasing their royalty rates and it's coming out of the Feds taxes, which haven't even passed parliament. It is a risk for investors and I can understand why companies would try to combat it in the interests of their shareholders. But the lengths they're going to really annoy me. Politically the government should start a sovereign wealth fund with some of the revenues. It would be a lot more popular than decreasing the corporate tax rate and mitigate the damage from advertising somewhat.
