SKY Business today interviewed a woman today who explained that women need to get 50% of jobs. The topic was economists.
At no stage did talent or qualifications come into the story. So if you had a fresh female grad vs a 20 year experienced male then you must take the female, at least so it would seem.
The male interviewer didn't have the nerve to raise the importance of experience in case he was labelled misogynist.
So in the future when you go to get financial advice and a young woman walks in how can you tell if she is qualified to give you good advice? The real life example here is where ALP women have been chosen because they are women.
Now the story with men is not much better with the ALP being especially loaded with spend-a-lot drones.
One thing that I would support is giving women who have children extra to compensate for time off to make up for loss of promotions. Having our own children is probably the most important thing that a nation can do.
