@bacci; the BLM protest was held during the first wave of Melbourne's COVID-19 outbreak wherein a State of Disaster had NOT been declared and relative to Wave 2, wherein infection rates were one-tenth of those for July-August.
BLM protest organisers strictly adhered to COVID-19 restrictions [social distancing, PPE, etc] and NO infections have ever been traced back to it.
That said, Daniel Andrews did NOT approve the BLM protests and advised people NOT to participate.
In contrast, those currently seeking to protest against PUBLIC HEALTH ORDERS under the declaration of a State of Disaster are neither cooperating with authorities nor acting safely. Indeed and as so eloquently explained by Victoria Police at lunchtime today, they are instead seeking to pursue political agendas which represent a serious threat to the community.
