I also bought in MUN at 80+ and got burnt. I sold out when things were not looking so good and took a hit(re: Bola ore body mishap).

I have been sitting on the sidelines since waiting to see some turn around in MUNs performance and believe that with the last couple of announcements and Dec quartely that things are coming good. I was very suprised to see also that JL had personally borrowed money to partially fund MUN through troubled last qrt of 08. Not many CEOs around that stick their neck out like that...

The rise in the SP has nothing to do with hotcopper posters but rather that MUN may be turning a profit this quarter (looks likely given Jan and Feb production is on track).

IMO - There is no reason why MUN cannot reach $1 again if production at Engenho comes good (lloking likely) and they get some great results from torricillas (looking likley given 5Koz prod already). All the fundamentals are coming back into play (as they were before funding and Bola mishap in 08).
