Above diagram from Page 7 - 31-8-12 annc. seems pretty clear to me.
This mine can never support the tonnages quoted with an ore body that dips so steeply.
It would simply be uneconomic to mine virtually straight down as the strip ratio would be horrific.
History is just that "history" it has nothing to do whatsoever with KAB's business model or uneconomic mine plans.
This is a coordinated ramp job IMO and has zero future.
