It is self evident that Trump obstructed congress and there seems to be plenty of evidence that Trump was withholding aid for his own purposes.
Given the republican have a majority in the senate it's likely they will not convict Trump, it's suggested they will not even call for witness and just go to a voted to get it over with.
Here is the disturbing part, the senators have sworn an oath to impartial in applying the law and constitution and if they don't that is a sad state of affairs for what is suppose to be the greatest democracy.
I'm hoping that it will be a fair trial with evidence and witness heard, then if they dismiss the charges that is fair.
