research shows that people working from home are more productive, better punctuality, less time away from the computer, less chatting with colleagues, shorter toilet or water cooler breaks..... lower insurance costs to the employer. enabling smaller office space and enabling former offices to be redesigned as living space.
there really are a lot of pros and cons.
but I do share your appreciation of Minns. I think he's doing a fair job so far. but I'll withhold my support at this stage.
