According to the latest cashflow report, nmt has A$46m in the bank. There is no income from Ganfeng yet in the last quarter nor in the last 12 month.
If there is no income yet, and buy back on going, would you spend more for divi? Yes, they can afford it, but should they do it?
To spend all the A$46m in divi, we would get 8 cents ps. Is it wise? I don't think so.
They need to spend some of those money investing in projects that generate returns.
