    A merger with DTE would go a long way.

    DTE, although I did not like the way they previously treated their shareholders with the AOE takeover, has a lot of experience behind them and can get things moving very quickly.

    They have the knowledge and the drive (being there previoulsy) to get the ball rolling in regard to LNG, Power Generation and Marketing, and pipelines constructions having been doing that before.

    They also have many tenements overseas and have good contacts there to get rid of our LNG, which could all be a positive plus at some stage of the game, or another.

    As such, and anyone can take it as a grain of salt, the only way that it would work though, is that DTE's Management take control of ESG's Management and Board. That is IMHO only.
