What you've done there is a bit cheeky even by your own lofty standards. ESG won't be making a 'generous scrip' bid for DTE.
In the past I've been a supporter of the idea of the two getting together but DTE is more than fully priced considering it has at the moment no gas.
A generous scrip bid for DTE would certainly put downward pressure on ESG's share price wouldn't it? And you know very well shareholder approval is required for any deal of this nature so whether STO is on the board is not is immaterial.
Can you ask your STO mates whether they will be endorsing a pay rise for Chris Sadler? Now that is a conundrum!
