IMO Anchorage have plenty of work ahead of them. As I have posted on the AFJ thread, this will be the third change of providers that some families will have experienced in two years. Similar with staff, third employer in two years. The timing, of the proposed takeover, at the end of the year, may work against Anchorage, as this is the time that parents, if they are going to change their care arrangements usually select to move to another centre and the change of owners may present a perfect opportunity to do so. Hopefully, Anchorage will take control of the information to be released as well as the timing of those releases to both parents and staff and the transition will be as smooth as possible.
Confidence in many areas of corporate childcare is at an all time low.
There are other parties apart from G8 who will be monitoring Anchorage's progress closely.
Kern, Giufre and James - Kern has been involved in G8, Affinity and Evolve, both Chis and **rielle Giufre are involved or have connections with Affinity and Evolve, Chris Giufre has also been involved in the deal with Anchorage and James is also involved and connected with Affinity and Evolve. All a bit too similar to the early days of two other board members of another corporate childcare.
Shareholders need to hear from Chis Scott re the failed takeover bid and how G8 is going to move forward from here.
