I used to hold but not now and it's nothing to do with shorting, etc, etc. I wrote this on 02/04/15 in another HC GEM thread:

"My advice is do your research re GEM. I bought on 17 Jan at $3.95 after their report was perceived as negative by the market, did further research after reading the HC thread "(Un)Intelligent Investor Article", then sold early March at $4.25.
