Farmers plead for help
A dozen resolutions were carried unanimously, including a joint Federal and State government commitment for a financial assistance scheme to be in place by May 1 and a government and bank moratorium on forced farm sales until relief measures are in place.
Lets remember the farmers are hurting as a direct result of the mining boom and the high dollar associated with it. Rudd via the MRRT tried to take the heat out of the mining boom and was blackballed.
This is a direct correlation to the Dutch disease.
The foreign owned mining company's didn't/don't give a rats arse about this country.
