    Eusebius was excommunicated for maintaining the view that Christ was subordinate to the Father. However, at the Council of Nicaea in 325 C.E., he gave his support to the opposing view and was exonerated.

    MrG you would be familiar with a form of excommunication for people who disagree with the doctrines of your Lords and Maters otherwise known as shunning. You will also be familiar with the changes made to key doctrine over time by the same Watchtower in spite of claiming to be God's representatives on earth and who condemn others for changing their minds.
