Don't quote me but in the Bible and other "sacred" writings, the voice is a question of vibrations.
It is vibrations that underpin the fabric of the Universe.
So when God gave the creative impetus it was likened to His Voice sounding a giant note.
Be careful about becoming fixated on the word "word", since "The Word" is not like any word you know and neither is the Bible anything to do with that Word. It is a collection of writings some of which claim to be inspired by God and purporting to represent His word, in the sense of instructions for living.
There are all different things being described as "word", but in essence they refer to vibrations.
So, you now have a new word to use instead of word. V i b r a t i o n s
