It seems true that at Jesus' Crucifixion very few Jews believed. Only after the Resurrection does the Jewish church begin and increase. At Pentecost, 50 days after the Crucifixion, about 3000 were added in one day. (Acts 2.) Now days there may be as many as 700,000 Messianic Jews.
Jeremiah had this to say about his people: Jer 5:20 Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,
