Sometimes QBE is a joke. They didn't disclose anything for weeks after the Yasi cyclone so the share price traded with no guidance downwards people always assuming the worst. Then when they did disclose, they did it because they wanted to announced the BA acquisition and disclosed in conjunction.
"Otherwise the market will trade without guidance." My concern is like yours as a shareholder I would like to know so that I can acquire more if there is no good reason for a market sell off.
