why do people who believe this as fact, get so upset by something they believe is a fairy tale belief ,of others like christianity?
why get so uptight if your puddle of mud is true?,why worry?,why get indignant?tomorrow we all die,and you dont want others to live in hope of something better when you have already stated your belief is fact,why worry?its not true anyway,whats the big deal?

Very true, IMO, Bowral.

We have no right to get upset with people for having particular beliefs.

When I get annoyed is when people tell me

• I cannot have purpose and meaning in life if my beliefs are different from their own.
• If I didn't believe that there is life after death, then I can only have a drink and be merry, sod 'em all mentality.
• That saying that "I don't know" (for example, how life started) is a weakness.
• I'm stupid for thinking that evolution isn't pure chance.
• My own world view is based on blind faith, implying that I'm stupid.
• Some people make blatantly untrue statements about what the majority of scientists in any given field think

Belittlement and mockery are practiced too frequently against those who disagree with us. Unfortunately it seems to apply to just about everything that involve options and "world views".

After all we share a common humanity and so if any individual is belittled or mocked we are all in a sense belittled or mocked
