    @zbusc

    A bit of a once upon a time story for you.
    Years ago the in-laws used to go to a Church of Christ Church and then it was a Big no, no re tongues, by the Pastor etc.
    He one time went on an overseas trip, USA maybe and comes back, change of mind and wanted to introduce tongues = the Church spit in half.
    In-laws then joined a new Baptist one near us.
    ---------
    That one also over time, split in half for different reasons.
    My daughter when young used to go to the youth group on friday evenings.
    Well,......the youth pastor was obviously into tongue wagging and way more.
    He would end up with the youth on the flaw on their backs, pretty much going into convolutions and all sorts.
    Fortunately the daughter told us, so I got onto one of the straight-line elders, a decent guy and he was furious.
    So a meeting was arranged with him, wife and I, the pastor and the youth pastor and we had it out.
    It then stopped, but blow me down, not far down the track he began again.
    I fronted the Pastor at the end of a Church service one time about this, and he tried to effectively shut me down.
    It wasn't like I was addressing him before others.
    Anyway, they eventually got rid of the youth pastor.

    If this youth pastor wanted this nonsense, then simply go to a Church that does it, don't come along polluting another Church.
