Yes, that is a good point and there is ample hypocrisy in the stance of the club and Andrews. Strict adherance to Muslim faith is extremely socially conservative, and is particularly brutal to the aspirations of woman. But unfortunately for Thornburn its socially acceptable to target the strict elements of Christianity only. I dont agree at all with the views of Thornburn's Church and seeing gays as heritics is horrible, but I do sympathise that if the new CEO was a muslim and chairman of a Mosque or strict islamic organisation, not a word would be said.
